What is Matilda?

An always-on AI assistant you text like a coworker. She keeps your deals and CRM up to date and chases follow-ups, so the people doing the work can stay in front of clients.

Do I need to install anything?

No. You can text Matilda over iMessage or chat with her in the browser. The iOS app and the Mac app are there if you want them, not because you need them.

What does the Mac app do?

Matilda Worker sits in your menu bar and syncs the iMessage threads you mark as prospects. As Matilda learns about a lead, she keeps the matching person in Follow Up Boss up to date: contact details, tags, stage, notes, tasks and appointments. Threads synced from your Mac are captured, never auto-replied to.

Does Matilda replace my CRM?

No. She keeps the CRM you already pay for accurate, by writing to it as you work instead of asking you to sit down and do data entry later.

Is Matilda affiliated with Follow Up Boss?

No. Matilda is an independent product from Shafiq and Company LLC. Follow Up Boss is a separate company, named here only to describe what Matilda works alongside.

Will Matilda text my clients without me knowing?

Only where you tell her to. You set what she may send on her own, what needs your approval first, and what she should only draft.

Where does my data live?

On dedicated hardware we manage, not shared cloud infrastructure, with each client kept in its own isolated workspace. Your conversations, contacts and notes belong to you.

How do I get started?

Matilda is a managed service rather than a self-serve signup. We start with a discovery call about how you actually work, configure an instance around it, then hand it over and keep tuning it.
